I miss you Dad

Norman Harold Wells, born 19 March 1925, passed away early this morning.

He was my Father, my hero and my friend.

He was the best man I have ever known, and he has left me in a world that is less bright and less beautiful and less full of wonder because he is no longer within it.

Today, for me, was the day the stories died, and I desperately wish tears could bring them back.

I miss you Dad. I love you. I will keep the promises I made to you.

  1. I feel for you. Your Dad was a special guy with a great outlook on life.
His laughter and stories will be sorely missed.

  2. Dearest Murray,

I am so very sorry to hear about your father. It is so odd because I literally haven’t been to your site in months and all the sudden this morning, you were on my mind really strong so I thought I would check out your page and see what was up with you. I had no idea I would see a post about you losing your father. I know this is most definately a horrible time for you and your family and you are in my thoughts and prayers. I am sure your father knew how much you love him and I am super confident you will continue to make him proud. I miss you and am here for you if you ever need a friend. Please get in touch when you can and let me know how you are. Much love, Fran

  3. Thank you both, Splinter and Frances, for your kind thoughts. It has been a difficult time, but I have been so heartened by the support everyone has given me.

    Thank you again,

    Murray By Moonlight
